NASA is famously known for space exploration, but did you know NASA engineers and scientists use their groundbreaking technology to help keep us safe in our daily lives? Mercedes was invited as the keynote speaker for Stennis Space Center’s Annual Safety Day. She was honored by working alongside one of NASA’s most prominent astronaut trainers. She delivered a message of working with passionate intention to increase safety awareness at all levels, in all phases — from design all the way through execution, at Stennis Space Center. Among the 20 various NASA facilities across the US, NASA has a direct impact on the development of products and technology you use on a daily basis (home appliances, automotive and aircraft technology, medical equipment and meteorology prognostication) that keep you and your family safe.
