Don’t Give Up
If you’re truly passionate about something, you’ll fight and fight until there’s no more fight left in you. This mom in Texas noticed that her special needs son was coming home from school with broken bones, bruises and had even been sexually assaulted. Instead of complaining about it, she DID something about it.
As a mother in the middle of raising a medically-fragile special needs child, I know the anguish a parent feels the first time they drop off their child in a school setting. You hope and pray that they will treat your child as carefully and as lovingly as you do. Fortunately we’ve had the best experiences with our teachers, but I cannot imagine the frustration and worry this mom must have felt.
She is proof that when you are truly passionate about something, you’ll keep going no matter what. Because of her tireless work, more parents can send their children to school with peace of mind. Thank you Breggett Rideau. From one special needs mom to another, thanks for fighting a good fight. Read more about what she is doing here.
